HARVEST WINE DINNER (CHARLOTTE)

Harvest season is here, and we're throwing a dinner party to celebrate all the hard work that goes into making your favorite vino. Get ready for a night of delicious food, amazing wines, and lots of laughs! We will be featuring wines that are representative of the Harvest season and the hard labor that goes into them. Who know, we might even have a winemaker to come and talk about her experiences with harvest ;) 

Here are the details:

• Kick things off with a bubbly welcome drink (cheers to that! 🥂)
• Dig into a four-course feast prepared by Chef Chris Perry featuring all the freshest flavors of the season.
• Sip on five fabulous wines (including a sparkler, two whites, and two reds) that we've picked to perfectly match each dish.
• Get the lowdown on each wine from our super knowledgeable (and fun!) wine educator Mary, who'll be on hand to share all the details and answer your questions.

Here is the menu:

🍂 Welcome Drink

Sparkling Wine served with a selection of local cheeses and charcuterie.

🍁 First Course

Roasted Butternut Squash Soup topped with toasted pumpkin seeds and a drizzle of truffle oil. 

Wine Pairing: Viognier or Petite Manseng

🍂 Second Course

Wild Mushroom Risotto made with a mix of seasonal wild mushrooms and topped with shaved Parmesan. 

Wine Pairing: Barolo (Italy)

🍁 Main Course

Slow-Roasted Pork Belly served with roasted root vegetables and a rich, red wine reduction. 

Wine Pairing: Red Bordeaux (France)

🍂 Dessert

Warm Apple Crisp served with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce. 

Wine Pairing: Late Harvest Riesling.
