Indulge in a comprehensive, two-day wine immersion experience designed to enhance your foundational knowledge. This course is perfect for wine aficionados, beginners, and intermediate level wanting to up their wine education. This is a NIGHT 4 DAY version of the course. Delve into crucial topics that will expand your understanding, focusing on today's top wines and regions. Acquire professional skills in wine tasting and analysis, and engage in hands-on experimentation with food and wine pairings in our interactive lab. Led by DIPWSET Candidate and WSET Certified Educator Yellymary Montalvon along with other industry-leading professionals, this class is tailored for enthusiasts aspiring to become more discerning consumers and collectors or wine professionals wanting to hone their expertise. Discover best practices for the care, preservation, and enjoyment of wine along with how to choose the perfect bottle of wine and how to pair food and wine. Immerse yourself in this enlightening program as you savor the flavors of two dozen wines. Format You can choose this class either in person or online. We will be offering the courses via ZOOM Live for those who prefer that method. We will also include the shipping of all tasting samples so you can follow through with the tasting portion in real-time. Sessions will be Saturday May 4 & May 5 from 11am-5pm. Lunch will be provided by Perry Culinary Services on both days. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions. Once you enroll you will receive a detailed schedule with the program, instructors, and sessions. Sessions will include the white and red wines of the world, service, etiquette, presentation, blind tasting techniques, and food and wine pairings. Each session will be approximately 1 hour long.
