The syllabus takes a regional approach and discusses all French wine appellations and the factors that shape their identities. The program provides committed students of wine with an unparalleled set of study tools that are designed to maximize learning and boost knowledge retention. This is a hybrid course. We will meet over 20 hours of classroom instruction with tutored tasting taught by Alex Lopez, FWS with Honors and WSET Level 3 in Wines. Classes will be 1 time a week and one live session for tasting, review and exam. The student is responsible for picking up or coordinating shipping for their wine samples. You will pick up samples in our Orlando location. August 23 via Zoom 6pm-8pm August 30 via Zoom 6pm-8pm September 5 via Zoom 6pm-8pm September 12 via Zoom 6pm-8pm September 19 via Zoom 6pm-8pm September 26 via Zoom 6pm-8pm October 3 via Zoom 6pm-8pm October 10 via Zoom 6pm-8pm October 17 via Zoom 6pm-8pm October 24 via Zoom 6pm-8pm November 4- In person class in Orlando and Exam noon-5pm Exam Closed-book exam of 100 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 60 minutes. You need a score of 75 or higher. Candidates scoring 85-90 pass with Honors. Candidates scoring 91-100 pass with Highest Honors. *Installment plans available.
